Declan one month

At Declan's one month appointment, he weighed 10 lbs, 10 oz and measured 23 inches long. He is healthy and sweet, sleeping and eating well, starting to be more alert and giving us some smiles!
I am super in love with my baby and very much enjoying my three kids.

Botanical Garden

While Laura was here we ventured to the botanical garden.
I love these two together. They really love each other--so sweet!
If I hadn't had Laura with me, I would have gone berserk, keeping track of three kids, especially a certain two year old who kept trying to get into one of the many water features.
My three kids and me!
Ian, Laura and Audrey
Nature is amazing.
We stopped at McDonald's on the way home and Ian tried his best to finish his lunch! Laura and I were laughing hysterically.

Pool time

We joined a neighborhood pool this summer and went with my sister while she was here.

Brothers and sister

My wonderful friend Amber made these tee shirts for my kids. They are adorable and each have their birth order number on the back. So fun. My sister and I tried to get pictures and it was practically impossible, between lighting issues and uncooperative children. But here's the best we could do:
Have I mentioned what a character he is??
Declan is five weeks old in these pictures.
See the #2? So cute! Amber, you rock. And Laura, you too.

The big move

We moved a week ago to a rental house and said goodbye to our two bedroom apartment of five years. We love our new place: it's huge and has a great yard, it's in a great location for church, school and friends, and it doesn't add much to Mr. B's commute. Plus he's got an office in the basement where he works from home two days a week. We love our new life.
Things I won't miss about our apartment:
Climbing two flights of stairs w/two kids and 40 pounds of groceries. Pregnant.
Keeping the kids from jumping and bouncing to reduce neighbor disturbance.
Putting the trash bags on our windshield and driving them out to the compacter.
Keeping dirty diapers in the house for a week before driving the bag out.
Hot and stuffy windowless-ness.
Using our bedroom as a storage unit.
Hauling the strollers up and down stairs.
Loud air conditioner.

Things I will miss about our apartment:
Cheap utilities.
No yard work.
The memories. We had all of our three children while living there and a great five years of wonderful memories. Even if a two bedroom apartment isn't the ideal living situation, it was our home and we were happy. Looking forward to continued happiness, but more space! :)
