Thanksgiving

We had another wonderful visit to the Egers for Thanksgiving. We tried to get a family picture for our Christmas letter and Audrey apparently thought that was a hideous idea. I thought some of Meri's shots were funny. Audrey hiding behind the tree, us trying to convince the kids to be happy. We gave up.
Meri's granddaughter Aneilla had her 2nd birthday party while we were there, which was a lot of fun. The highlight: a room filled with balloons, both floor and ceiling. The kids loved it.
We didn't take very many photos, but we enjoyed our time with this wonderful family.

Fall time

While I was doing dishes (and talking on the phone), Ian creeped up behind me, pulled this bowl off the counter, and ate the last cookie. Sneaky.
He is a huge fan of bananas. I caught him trying to eat two halves at one time. Hungry?

Must have been a rough couple of days

October 1st: lunch time
October 2nd: dinner time
October 3rd: lunch time

Happy Halloween

The kids dressed up as Cinderella and a spider this year. I am disappointed in the pictures, but we got a good video that I will post to youtube one of these days. The kids had a great time trunk-or-treating at the ward party, but crashed on the way home.

Halloween party

Last weekend we hosted our fifth annual Halloween party and had a really great time. Here's the invitation:
And here are our awesome friends, who always wow us with their creative costumes!
Mrs. Peacock with the candlestick and Col. Mustard with the wrench. Winning 1st place at the Halloween party!
I'm a chef with a bun in the oven and Mr. B is a pretty smokin' 70s guy.
What characters! 3rd place.
These two couples dressed as each other.
I loved this one: He's Bob, from What About Bob. Even had a real goldfish in a jar.
From the video game Plants vs. Zombies: 2nd place!
Thanks everyone for a great party!
