Independence Day

 Happy Fourth of July! We had some of our dear friends over for barbecuing, this yummy dessert, games and fireworks. Fun! 

Goodbye Atlanta Botanical Garden

 We have been members of the Atlanta Botanical Garden for most of the time we've lived in Atlanta. We had passes for one last visit, and we took Wendy and Tate. We had a lovely time and will miss this place so much. 

Goodbye Garden! Maybe we will see you again someday.

Even more summer fun

 While the cat's away, the mice will play! Mr. B took Declan to Washington for his cousin's wedding, so I took advantage of the baby-free time to do some fun stuff with my big kids. One day we went to Discover Mills mall. We hardly spent any money, just enjoyed the mall atmosphere and fun.

 Our big splurge of the day: a shared kids' meal at Burger King, which they didn't even finish. Glad I didn't buy two meals!

Carousel ride 

 Playing at the Lego store. I was really tempted to buy something here, but managed not to.

 Playing with balloon animals from a clown in the mall. It was a fun day!

Another day this summer, we met up with the Croxalls and Nicelers to play at a local splash pad park. Fun times!
