After FIVE years, I was finally reunited with my high school best friend, Beth. I went to her wedding five years ago, and haven't seen her since, nor met her children, although we email each other almost weekly and have fallen in love with each others' children via blog pictures and stories. Funny enough, we both have three year old girls and one year old boys! Our boys are just two days apart. Beth and her family just moved to South Carolina, and stopped in Atlanta on their way to see us. What a glorious day!
Audrey and Claire got along really well. They especially loved dressing up and playing tea party.
The little boys took alternating naps and didn't get a ton of time together, but they both enjoyed the day. And of course, we adults loved it. Beth and I never stopped our chatter--so wonderful to be together again. I can't wait to head up to SC and visit soon!

This is seriously how I found Audrey the other day (I made her keep doing it for the picture). Her daddy was quite proud of her sophisticated literary choice.
A sibling tea party. This was a rare event: usually I don't let Ian touch my childhood tea set and usually my children don't play all that well together. It seems Ian had to participate shirtless to feel more manly.
