Gardens, we love 'em!

While Beth and her kids were here for the weekend, we headed to the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
We love these frog statues throughout the garden. Check out Claire imitating the frog. Love it.

Cute boys.
Orchids!
I hope these guys are forever friends!

And I hope these two are BFFs!!! :)

Happy 3rd Birthday Ian!

Ian requested a Muno birthday. Muno is a character from a TV show, Yo Gabba Gabba. Aunt Carly and Uncle Spencer gave the kids Yo Gabba Gabba DVDs for Christmas and we have been big fans ever since. My friend Beth and her kids were in town for the weekend and she made the cake.
I added paper eyes to red cups to fit the Muno theme. You can see Muno on the napkins I fortuitously found at Party City.
We had lunch with our guests: Claire, Gwen, Tate,  Boston, Ian and Audrey. Perfect  number of kids for his party.
We played "Pin the eye on the Muno," which was Mr. B's contribution. He came up with the idea and drew  Muno.
See, this is where his eye SHOULD go.
An attempt.
After everyone has had a go.
Opening gifts.
Party treats sent home. Since Ian's birthday is also St. Patrick's Day, I had to give a nod.
Playing with his favorite gift, a metal school bus. He picked it out himself a few weeks ago and then I hid it. The ease of gift-giving at this age!!
Claire took this picture as we were getting ready for the party.  My sweet girl and me.

Ian's letters

We have been working away at Ian's letters. I just haven't been taking pictures. Here are some projects from letter N through R.

 I love his face.
His too. Declan is 10 months old, almost 11 months! He had tubes put in his ears last week and is doing well.

 Hers too??
Ian, passed out while watching TV on a lazy Saturday afternoon. I love him in his undies.

Back to the gardens

So I realize that my Atlanta Botanical Garden membership expires the last day of April, and I rush off with my boys to start making up for lost time.
