Dress up
I didn't think dress up started this young, but what can you do? Baby B generally enjoys getting dressed, especially putting on shoes, but today was a little unusual. This afternoon she went to her room, opened her dresser drawer, and retrieved several items of clothing. She handed them to me one by one and indicated that she wanted me to dress her. It was very patient and serious business for her; I was stifling laughter and playing along. She ended up with five tops and four bottoms before I said enough. Fortunately, she patiently helped me remove items down to the original layer, but not before I snagged a picture. Forgive the binky. She's had it round the clock all week because it's comforting her sickness (or keeping me from listening to the incessant sleep-deprived whining, you pick).

It's a good thing she's so cute
Because I'm getting tired of all the sickness! Poor Baby B is sick again (third time in two months!). Isn't this a great pitiful picture? She loved her little setup but didn't remain there for long. She hasn't been too cranky, but she hasn't been napping and is more high maintenance. Plus I haven't been to the gym for weeks because we've both been sick so much. I'm hoping that at least by next Monday we can be back in our regular schedule and health. Here's a picture from Valentine's Day--what a sweetheart.

Children's museum and Cheez-its
Yesterday the Atlanta Children's Museum was free, so we playgroup girls headed over. It was understandably crowded, but Baby B thoroughly enjoyed herself. I wasn't too impressed with the appearance and quality of the museum--not worth the $15 general admission--so I'm glad I didn't pay! I wouldn't mind going again on a free day, which happen once a month. Baby B loves new environments, anything to get out of our boring apartment!
Mmm, groceries! I spent a bit of time convincing her these are not to eat. Eww germs!

As usual, she found the chair just her size! Baby B spent most of our visit mesmerized, so not very many looking-at-the-camera faces...Friday, February 8, 2008

Grandma and Aunt Verneda
We had a lovely visit last week from Mr. B's grandma and aunt. They really enjoyed hanging out with Baby B and we enjoyed having them here. Baby B warmed right up to both of them, and even gave Grandma a goodbye kiss right before they left. Come back soon!
Baby B showing off her reading skills to Grandma and Aunt Verneda, sitting in her cute rocking chair from Grandma Louise. We love all our grandmas and miss them very much!
