Trip "home"

I found some cheap last minute tickets to Seattle and took the kids to see their relations.
The weather was perfect fall weather. We loved it. Lots of backyard time.
I loved watching them explore the outdoors. We haven't done much of that in the last few months of intense heat and bugs in GA.
I am in LOVE with this boy! He makes great faces, learns new words every day, gives me hugs and kisses, and has such a typical boy personality that keeps me entertained.
Audrey says that she wants a house (we live in an apartment). I agree. Isn't she pretty?? Such a sweetheart too!
Fun at the park with cousins and Uncle Ben.
Isn't he beautiful?
And busy?
Thanks to my dear family for putting up with us. So good to see you all and we miss you!

Do the Puyallup

While I was visiting home, my in-laws took us to the Puyallup fair. Audrey was ecstatic about the rides and food, and Ian loved the animals.
We got a bit wet! Ian toughed it out in his stroller for most of the time we were there.
This guy has no fear when it comes to animals, so the petting zoo was perfect.

It's always fun when Grandpa comes

Last week we were delighted by a visit from Grandpa Rick (Mr. B's dad).
He made teeth out of orange peel.
I was dying with laughter.
He and Mr. B took the kids to Stone Mountain while I spent four lovely hours by myself working on projects. Bliss.
They rode the Ducks and the train.
Audrey outfitted.

Ian outfitted.
Who doesn't love chocolate ice cream?
Grandpa captured Audrey and I cooking dinner: Audrey is kneading pizza dough and I'm making the toppings: Chicken bbq pizza--so good! Rick took such good care of us and we were all very sad to see him go. Thanks Grandpa!!
