We spent the weekend with the Egers in Tallahassee. Once again, extremely relaxing, great company, and amazing food!

Oops--didn't think to get any Fourth clothing this year, but at least Ian is wearing the right colors.
One of the things that makes these weekends so relaxing is that Audrey loves being there and has free rein to go anywhere, play in the cupboards, play with Meri's toys. We brought her recently purchased trike, and she learned how to ride it in their spacious home. I never had to entertain her, except supervising pool time. The good life.
Audrey and her noodle: She gets all around the pool with it, absolutely no help required or desired.
Besides being hostess and chef extraordinaire, Meri held Ian a lot. I felt overwhelmingly spoiled. Ian ate it up!
Our manly men, Robert and Mr. B, on the grill, cooking up a surf and turf Fourth dinner. Meri did the sauces for our shrimp and steak, and the dough for the grilled flatbread. She also made two divine salads. I ate enough for probably three people. I hope there's grilled flatbread in heaven.

Looks like a great vacation! And we totally agree that trike riding inside is the only way to live.
Looks like you had a fun trip. Haven't seen Audrey in awhile, her hair is sure getting long.
I like vacations that actually feel like vacations. Your family is beautiful. How do you know the family you visited? They seem really kind.
What a fun weekend! I am glad you had friends to spend time with AND to give you a needed break. Ian is so cute and getting so big! You HAVE to get the grilled flatbread recipe for me (please). It sounds delicious!
I love a good relaxing weekend. Bonnie, you look absolutely fabulous.
